Margaret Dabbs Cheltenham

Last week we were lucky enough to get out of the rain to give our hands and feet some much needed TLC at the new Margaret Dabbs London clinic in Cheltenham. Just what was needed stepping into the warmer months (newly polished fingers and toes crossed!)

Margaret Dabbs' newest clinic opened 6 weeks ago in lovely Montpelier, the first of her ever expanding brand to open outside of London. When asking one of her lovely employees "why Cheltenham?" she replied, "Margaret loves Cheltenham!" - Good enough reason for us! We're very happy to welcome her niche clinic to our lovely spa town! 

We say niche because this isn't your average hand and nail salon, in-fact it isn't a salon at all. This is a clinic, without the clinical environment. Margaret is a Podiatrist by profession and wanted to create products which had all the benefits of clinical procedures but with a luxury feel and quality of foot and hand spa treatments. The same ethos and expertise has been applied to the whole brand using the latest innovation in products, medicinally inspired treatments and fully qualified staff, trained to Margarets ethos and expertise.

After the stress of having to leave work early, rushing to our appointments and then running in from the rain, entering Maragret Dabbs' beautiful new clinic was like breathing in fresh air. Welcomed by a lovely team of ladies who made us feel relaxed from the second we walked through the doors, all the stresses of the day were left outside in the rain. After a big mug of coffee for Millie and a peppermint tea for Meg, we were guided straight into our separate appointments. We had both booked in for the Medical pedicure and Supreme M... nail treatment which were to be done at the same time. Our wonderful hand therapist said not everybody likes having their hands and feet treated at the same time, with many customers opting to do them separately, but we have to say we felt truly pampered for the 45 minutes we were in there. Great for if you are in a rush too which is why this option may be so popular in the London clinics. There certainly isn't a one size fits all package at this clinic, your treatment is tailored to you.

In the treatment rooms that is exactly what happens. there isn't a nail varnish in sight! For 45 minutes our therapists worked their magic undoing all of our neglect from years of high heels, shellac and general abuse! Only after this were we taken through in for a polish where we had ample variety of colours to choose from. Another pot of tea later and we were done.

The Cost

Medical Pedicure £85, 45 minutes - Now this isn't a cheap treatment but we can assure you it is value for money. We have thought about our feet in a completely different light since going to Margaret Dabbs. They are as important as your teeth so look after them! We could not believe how different our feet looked afterwards, dare we say it...more attractive? Silly us for not taking before and aftershots!

Supreme Manicure £50, 50 minutes - Magarets signature manicure treatments using a range of her indulgent products to leave your hands and nails feeling totally rejuvenated. This treatment left our hands looking lovely and our nails are super strong again! 

We would highly recommend Margaret Dabbs fabulous new clinic in Cheltenham and honestly can not praise the staff enough, the girls were so lovely and attentive and even more importantly for us, they were fun. We could have stayed and chatted to them all afternoon! A true sign of feeling relaxed and comfortable. We left with cute pink nails, a new pair of feet and a spring in our step! Thank you.
